OUR YOGA STYLES

We empower students to practice a mix of classes, depending on what your body & mind needs.  

TRADITIONAL HATHA

Hatha is a slower paced, spiritual class with less poses and longer holds. This practice is the ultimate practice for mind stability, energy cultivation and building inner fire.

Using asana as the foundation, Hatha classes incorporate deeper Tantric techniques, such as Pranayama, Bandha, Mudra, Mantra and Meditation.

Traditional Hatha is our signature style at Bhav. This is the practice for creating life changing growth and evolution.


VINYASA KRAMA

Our Vinyasa class is connecting breath with movement to wisely guide you through sequence for progression towards either a peak pose or an energetic outcome from a specific intention.

This practice is open to everyone as there is always modifications and challenges alike. A general level of fitness can be helpful, or if you are wanting to build on physical health.


YIN YOGA

Embracing time. Poses are held passively for longer. Grounded stillness to allow connective tissues to gradually release. The intention is to deeply relax, create more space and openness for the body, for the nervous system to re collaborate.

Attention to the connective tissues and joints, making this practice perfect for rest and relaxation, rehabilitation and comfort for all ages and body types.


ASANA STRENGTH

This class builds physical strength and stamina. Each session targets a specific area of the body—upper body, core, or lower body—helping you develop a balanced, strong, steady foundation. Expect to be physically challenged, improve endurance, and enhance body awareness.

This class will leave you feeling empowered and resilient—on and off the mat. Perfect for anyone looking to elevate their strength while staying true to the mindful essence of yoga.


ASANA ALIGNMENT

This class is focused on alignment of the asana or poses. With a focus on creating structure, safety, and stability, you’ll learn to build a strong understanding of asana.

Through detailed guidance and mindful adjustments, we’ll explore the mechanics of each posture, helping you refine your technique and deepen your understanding of the body. Perfect for beginners and seasoned yogi’s wanting to refine for deeper practice. Great for gaining self confidence to step onto the mat.


YOGA NIDRA

Reboot and reset with the transformative practice of Yoga Nidra. Often called “yogic sleep,” this guided relaxation practice allows you to rest deeply while remaining conscious, restoring both body and mind.

Yoga Nidra helps release stress, improve focus, and cultivate a sense of inner calm, leaving you recharged and ready to take on the rest of your day. No prior experience is needed. Let this practice do the work.


PRANAYAMA & MEDITATION

This 45-minute seated practice to journey inward through the transformative power of breath and meditation. Begin with gentle movement to awaken energy and prepare the body.

Pranayama techniques to centre the mind and balance your energy, followed by guided meditation to explore deeper layers of awareness. Perfect for those seeking clarity, calm, and a deeper understanding of self. Reset and realign your inner world.


CHANTING

Join us for our special chanting sessions featuring the powerful Gayatri and Maha Mrityunjaya Mantras! Every new and full moon, we gather to chant these ancient Sanskrit Mantras, each with its unique benefits.

The Gayatri Mantra, known for its ability to remove blocks and limitations, is chanted during the New Moon to manifest new beginnings. It is a mantra of healing, purification, protection, and spiritual awakening.

The Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra, on the other hand, empowers us to overcome fear, doubt, and obstacles in our path. It activates our inner strength, healing capacity, intelligence, confidence, and willpower. Chanting this mantra fills us with courage, inspiring us to shine brightly and embody our fullest potential, even in today's challenging times.
